Giovanni faces the exciting challenge of transforming digitally industrial operations since 2013.
His background is deeply rooted on Lean Six Sigma, leading for 10+ years projects in Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Oil & Gas and White Goods. After being Head of Supply Chain for a distressed mid-size company during a complete turnaround, he then joined McKinsey Implementation focusing on complex operations transformations. During Giovanni’s time with Electrolux as Global Director Digital Industrial Operations, he created the new organization from scratch, starting a wide portfolio of digital initiatives, settling a formal Open Innovation process and founding Electrolux Innovation Factory, a physical space hosting startups and dedicated to innovation.
Giovanni joined Danone in 2020 to launch Digital Manufacturing Acceleration program: ambitious initiative to transform the full network of 150+ factories to get higher level of productivity and flexibility. After the successful launch of this program he was also appointed with Manufacturing Excellence responsibility and launched another transformational initiative with the conversion to IWS of the full network of factories.
Most recently in 2024, Giovanni was appointed VP Industrial Excellence, guiding global engineering, investments and co-manufacturing teams.
