J. Robert “Bob” McKee began his career in Fire and EMS leadership, specializing in emergency management, disaster preparedness, and crisis planning. Throughout this work, he applied practical, people‐centered systems to safeguard lives and strengthen communities. Building on this foundation of public service, Mr. McKee moved into higher education, where he has held senior leadership roles for nearly 30 years. His experience spans several prestigious institutions, including Boston University, the University of Houston, Rutgers University, and Prairie View A&M University. Since 2025, Mr. McKee has served as Senior Vice President for Business Affairs and Chief Financial Officer at Prairie View A&M University, leading budget planning, capital construction, facilities, information technology, and auxiliary services. His career reflects a deeply held belief in building resilient business systems, collaborative servant leadership, and service‐driven decision‐making to strengthen people, institutions, and communities.
