Dominick Boyd is the CHRO for Lee County Government in Southwest Florida, leading HR for 3K employees, 20+ industries, and a self-funded health plan with 9K+ covered lives. Before joining the HR team, Dominick spent over 25 years in Public Safety, 20 of them with Lee County, leaving as deputy director and chief of staff. He remains a licensed paramedic and board-certified flight paramedic. Dominick is also a technologist and developer with over a decade of leading novel projects, including a county-wide drone-as-infrastructure and drone-as-first-response program. He currently leads an enterprise innovation and AI initiative at Lee County. Dominick has an undergraduate degree in Health Science/Pre-Med from George Washington University and a graduate degree in Aeronautical Science (Human Factors) from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
